Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW)

Emergency First Aid at Work training is a practical and easy-to-understand course designed to help employees respond confidently and quickly in emergency situations. Knowing what to do when someone is hurt or unwell can make a big difference, helping to keep everyone safer and preventing injuries from getting worse. This course is useful for creating a safer workplace, where employees are prepared and able to act in the moment of need.

What will you learn?

Course Content:

  • Understanding the role and responsibilities of a first aider

  • Assessing and managing emergencies safely

  • Performing CPR and using an automated external defibrillator (AED)

  • First aid for choking, bleeding, and fractures

  • Recognizing signs of shock, burns, and medical conditions

  • Managing minor injuries and illnesses

  • Recording and reporting incidents accurately
