These Terms and Conditions govern the use of this website and the booking of training services provided by Hand on Heart Training. By using this website or booking a course, you agree to these terms.

1. About Us

Hand on Heart Training provides first aid training courses across Oldham, Tameside and Greater Manchester.

2. Booking and Payment

All course bookings must be confirmed via email or agreed in writing.
An invoice will be issued upon confirmation of the booking unless otherwise agreed.
Payment must be made within 14 days of the invoice date.
For bookings made within 14 days of the course date, payment may be required in advance of the training.
We reserve the right to withhold certification until full payment has been received.
Late payments may be subject to interest and recovery costs in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel bookings where payment terms are not met.

3. Cancellations and Refunds

By the Client:

Cancellations made more than 7 days before the course date may be eligible for a refund or reschedule.
Cancellations made within 7 days of the course may be non-refundable.

By Hand on Heart Training:

We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a course due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g. trainer illness).
In such cases, you will be offered an alternative date or a full refund.

4. Course Attendance

Delegates must attend the full course to receive certification.
Late arrivals or early departures may result in certification not being issued.
Participants must be physically able to complete practical elements of the training.

Ensure a suitable training environment (if training is delivered at your premises)
Provide accurate delegate information
Inform us of any medical conditions or learning requirements in advance

7. Liability

Hand on Heart Training will not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss.
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the training course.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

9. Intellectual Property

All content, materials, and course resources remain the property of Hand on Heart Training.
They may not be copied, reproduced, or distributed without permission.

11. Blended Learning Courses

For blended learning courses, delegates must complete all required online learning modules prior to attending the face-to-face training session.
Access to the practical session may be refused if online learning has not been completed in advance.
Failure to complete the online learning may result in the delegate being unable to participate, and the full course fee may still be charged.
It is the responsibility of the client and/or delegate to ensure that all pre-course requirements are completed in time.
Additional charges may apply if a delegate needs to be rebooked due to incomplete online learning.
Certificates will not be issued until full payment has been received and all course elements (including online learning and practical assessment) have been successfully completed.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
